New Pattern: "Ophelia"

It has been a busy few weeks in our household. I submitted a new pattern to my testers last week, but it's that time of the year when everyone is so busy with summer activities. We went camping this past weekend at Tallulah State Park, but I was able to field questions from my testers during our trip by using my phone, though it wasn't the most ideal method.

So today I present to you "Ophelia."

I've always wanted to see what it would look like if I simply SC-ed between all the pineapples, instead of adding anything unique between them. Would it retain it's shape? Or would it fold and ripple unattractively? Well, it went perfectly.

This design is 33 rounds and works up to about 11-inches in diameter when using a 1.75mm hook. I used about 250 yards of artiste cotton in the color 'caribbean.' I think it came out beautifully.

You can find this pattern in the pattern shop, or you can order this exact piece from my shop.
