After crocheting doilies for several months, I was inspired to try my hand at designing my own.  I didn't know how successful I would be at this attempt, I just knew I had to try it.  There was no harm in doing so--only wasted time.

This pattern took me a few weeks to design; creating a few rounds, ripping a few out, adding a few more, ripping some more out.  Trial and error.  But finally, she came together in the end.

This design is called "Penelope."

Finished size: 19-inches
Hook: 1.80mm
Thread: size 10
Yardage: 400 yards
